Art for Conservation
The concept, Art for Conservation, may be thought of as ‘conservation funding initiatives’ conceived by artists for the benefit of the wildlife they portray. These initiatives are pioneered with great effect not only for select species and populations but also for general habitat protection, conservation and restoration programs worldwide.
The cooperation between artist and partner(s) fosters such an initiative to benefit a particular program by the contribution of a percentage of proceeds from the sale of wildlife art. These funds may go to support one of three areas: Habitat Enhancement, Management and Research, and Conservation Education.
